Another DNF. Had no where to go in the 7 car wreck. Our season is
done as the car will need the right front frame horn replaced.
Won our heat in a convincing fashion. Drew the worst starting spot for
the A, 12th. Rear-end would stick going into the corner. Finished 12th.
Started 3rd and was working to pass the 2nd place car when the car got
loose coming off turn two. Fell back to 5th. Overall, a successful IMCA
Supernationals for us.
Started 9th in the heat and got up to 5th. Needed more laps to get into
the top 3. Started 3rd in our B-feature and won it. Roger drove a great
line right around the bottom of the dry, very rough track.
After starting 5th and finishing 3rd in our heat, we started 24th in tonight's
A-feature. Had a very fast car and was passing the 9th place car when
Roger drove it in deeper than the 12 car and spun himself out so as not
take out the 12 car. Still had 8 laps to go. Had a shot at a top 5.
Started 19th on a dry track. Had the wrong gear in the car and was too
loose. Could have been a top 4 otherwise.
Another DNF. Enough said.
It was another one of those nights! Started 13th and was steadily
passing cars. Most cars were up on the high-side and Roger was
running the bottom. Shortly after a restart, someone got sideways
coming out of turn 4, sending cars scattering. We got caught up in a
wreck that ended our night. Broke the RF shock and a number of
suspension items. Had the fastest lap times in the feature.
Had the car way too tight. Couldn't get back into the gas without it

The 37 car drove over the right front while trying to make it 3-wide (track
was wide enough for maybe two lanes) on the first corner of the first lap.
Wrecked the steering and numerous left front suspension.
Started 15th. Fought a tight car while running the bottom. Our lap times
very faster than last week, but the high-side was too fast.
Tonight's A-feature will be run on the 11th as rain hit the track.
Started 16th. Most of the cars were running the high-side against the
cushion. We setup the car to run the bottom and Roger passed alot of
cars. We were running laps times the same as and a little better than the
leader. Needed a late caution to catch us up to the leaders.
Used this night as a test to see if the vibration had been fixed.
A vibration in the drivetrain forced us onto the trailer after the heat race.
Started 10th and was moving up quickly. Got underneath the 5th place
car a number of times and made a move to pass him coming out of turn
two. He turned down and drove over our right front wrecking the tire,
wheel, shock, upper A-frame, spindle, and lower ball joint. Had a top 4

Started 6th and got caught behind a car that we struggled trying to get
around him. Got passed by a few cars while working on the car ahead of

Won our heat race with a good battle with David Smith. Started 5th in the
feature and got spun on the start when the car behind us got into the left
rear and never slowed down. Not sure why we didn't get our spot back as
we were clearly spun out. Restarted 15th and was stuck behind cars
slower cars running side by side. Car developed a miss late in the race
and Roger pulled in. This string of bad luck has to end sometime.
Fought a very loose car in the heat race. As a result, had to start 20th in
the feature. Made some big adjustments after the heat. Went to the
bottom part way through the race and passed a number of cars. Car was
a little loose on exit.
Started 14th and got caught up in a wreck on lap 3 in turns 1 & 2. A car
got sideways and caused a four car wreck. We had avoided most of the
wreck until the car behind us never slowed down much and wrecked the
left side of the car. All left front suspension, front bumper and rear end

Started on the pole of our heat race and led every lap. Started 4th in the
A and fell backwards with a very loose car on a dry track.
Started 8th in our heat and finished 5th. Started 6th in the B and was as
high as 3rd. Needed to finish 1st or 2nd in either race to make the

middle of 3 & 4. Roger lifted and got spun out by the 4th place car.
Worked our way back up to 7th.
Started 14th. After about 5 laps, Roger got the car hooked up on the
bottom and drove around a lot of cars. Needed some more laps to get
into the top 4. We were faster than the winner.
Less than two laps into the feature, the leader got sideways and we got
caught up in a big wreck.
Algona got rained out so we flew up to Jackson. Couldn't pass on the
one lane heat race track. Something under the rear of the car caught fire
during the feature.
Started 16th and lost a number of spots early. Went to the bottom and
passed a few of them back.
Started 6th and fell back a few spots at the beginning of the race. Made
some changes at the shop this afternoon and some at track. Car worked

Went from 8th to 4th in one lap. Got spun in turns 1 & 2 when trying to
make a pass on the 3rd place car. Another car under full throttle hit our
left front. Front frame horns need to be straightened. Might miss this
coming weekend. Would have been an interesting feature.
Should have finished 4th. Ran 6th all night. Had to avoid to spinning
cars and lost 10 spots. Was only half throttle on corner exit. When we
get that fixed, we should be faster.
Struggled on the tacky track. Car would jump the cushion. We'll already
have some changes in mind to fix the problems.
Got caught up in a small wreck at the end of the heat race. Started 8th and was
about the same speed of most of the field. Fought a tight car after making some
changes to get more forward bite.
Started 16th after struggling in the heat race on a tacky track. Took a while to
start moving forward. Lost a number of spots on the last corner of the last lap
avoiding the #54 car after he was spun.
Started inside row four. The track was very dry and everyone was running the
bottom. Car worked pretty good, but not good enough to get underneath guys
on exit or pull them down the straightaways. We're getting closer, but still need
more forward grip.
Won our heat race with a pass coming out of the last corner. Started 5th and ran
the bottom line. Most of the other cars were on the cushion, except the #84 car.
Restarting third after a late race caution, Roger used the high line to pass the #84
car and then returned to bottom to chase down the leader. Was running the
leader down, but ran out of laps
Started inside row five. After two laps, we had moved up to the 5th when we
got the right front run over on a wreck. Restarted deep in the field and made it
up to 9th. With a smaller right front tire and the damage to the front suspension,
car didn't work as well. Had a top four car and maybe one capable of winning.
Started inside row three. After a late race caution, we passed the #96 car for
third, but couldn't run down the leaders. Had a pretty good car, but could have
been faster if we had more side bite on entry. If we get the same track
conditions next week, we'll make some changes to gain forward bite and side
bite. Good weekend for us.
Started 2nd and led a few laps. The #9 of Coopman passed us and we
couldn't catch him again. Car started to fade towards the end allowing
the 3rd and 4th place cars to catch us.
Started 4th in our heat race. Moved into the lead part way through the heat race.
Finished 2nd with a car running on 7 cylinders due to a loose spark plug wire.
Started 8th and moved up and fell back a couple of positions throughout the
race. Needed more forward bite.
Started 2nd and was running in the top 5 for the first few laps. Car was very
good on the bottom in 3 & 4 and we could gain ground on them. Couldn't get to
the needed line in 1 & 2 and lost ground. Eventually cut down the RF tire.
Finished 4th in our heat race and started 8th in the feature. Track was really dry
and we didn't have much forward bite. With these track conditions, we should
have moved forward.
